Having received her PhD from China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Zhang is currently working and living in Macao. She was shortlisted for the Sovereign Asian Art Prize in both 2017 and 2018. Solo exhibitions include: Innocencepedia (2016, Macao), Body, Sour Breath and Ash (2019, Shanghai), Daddy… (2019, Macao), Of Love & Other Demons (2020, Macao) and Goddess, Nostalgia and Living in Macao in Winter (2022, Macao). Her works have been collected in the Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts and Macao Museum of Art.
