Sammie was born in Macao. She loves drawing comics when she was young. These past years she began studying oil painting techniques and is especially fascinated by Western classical portrait paintings. In 2015 she went to Italy and participated a two-week workshop of learning Figure Painting at the Florence Academy of Art. Aside from painting portraits, she also loves painting animals such as dogs and cats. As she has pets at home, most of her artworks uses dogs and cats as subjects. Through painting pet portraits and in order to help stray animals, she is hoping to bring out the message “Love Animals, Respect Life, Adopt and never abandon”.
